Ram sales are now in full swing at High Country Romneys. It’s really interesting meeting and speaking to our customers who come from all over the UK and further afield. Our rams are going onto a large variation of farm types and also onto many different breeds of sheep. The thing that is linking all of our customers is performance and system change or improvement. By focusing on their maternal genetics they’re creating a ewe that will rear fast growing lambs with minimal input and all off grass.
The Rams are sold off farm on a first come basis, no sales and no pressure. All rams are forage fed, not pushed and they are all fully performance recorded with SIL New Zealand. We keep a variation of rams to meet a variety of customer requirements so we can help select a ram that fits the bill.
